Four Rivers is an attractive, modern purpose-built nursing home that offers en-suite accommodation in the historic town of Ludlow. The home offers 24-hour high-quality person centred nursing care to older people that's focused on meeting individual need. All the rooms are decorated to a high standard, are linked into our call bell system and are wheelchair accessible. Each room has significant usable floor space, with the capacity to provide linked accommodation for married couples.
Four Rivers Nursing Home is divided into four wings, each consisting of ten bedrooms. Wings are named after the four local rivers: Teme, Corve, Onny and Clun. All rooms come complete with a wardrobe, dressing table and recliner chair, and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with personal possessions. It's also possible for residents to bring small items of furniture and pictures for the wall with prior consultation with the registered manager.

Food
Food is provided from the in-house chef and catering team kitchen at Four Rivers, using fresh ingredients and local produce to create a full and varied menu.
Residents are offered a comprehensive choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menus are displayed daily in the dining areas, but the catering team will also produce 'off menu' choices where required. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon tea is also served daily with cakes or biscuits.
Food and drink is available 24 hours a day from the kitchenettes on the wings, which can be accessed by both residents and relatives.
Daily life and social activities
The home organises a variety of activities and entertainment, including gentle exercise classes, various musical entertainments and a hairdresser who visits weekly. The local churches run a monthly church service and deliver a communion service for residents.
Where possible residents are also supported and encouraged to pursue individual interests and activities. The home has an open door visiting policy, and close relatives and friends are able to take lunch with their loved one for a small fee. The home also provides a trolley shop service selling toiletries and confectionery.
Laundry
The home provides a full on-site laundry service for residents' clothing, with towels, linen and bedding all provided by the home.
